Claim Guide
1. Take photo of the other party’s vehicle, license plate and position right after accident.
2. Exchange insurance information. Take photo of Driver license and Insurance Card
3. Ask for witness name and phone number if you can
4. Call police if the other party is not cooperating or if you are injured.
5. File claim with insurance company and keep claim number
6. Respond to claim handler phone call and letter promptly.
7. Find a repair shop of your choice.
8. If you have rental car, exam the rental car before and after use.
9. If your own insurance pay for the repair first, you need to pay Deductible. If the other party is at fault and his or her insurance pay for repair, no deductible apply.
10. If total loss, give the key and title to the insurance company.
